"The Upperclassmen"

Last year of highschool!....
Senior year has been by far the best year out of my years at Troy High School. I'm very lucky to have a great senior class that really gets along with one another. Class of 2014 have chemistry, the majority of us senior's have been together since the 7th grade. Losing and gaining students each and every year. This final highschool year so far has been very positive i am taking it all in before this upcoming fall.

Many goals I have yet to accomplish worries me even though they are small. Some of my goals I make I know for a fact I can't do I still try to push myself. One worry I have is deciding what college I want to spend 4 long years on campus at. A couple must for my college choice is:
•Good food
•In a big city
•Must like my soon to be team
And
•Most laid back and chill people

Although this is my last year and I'll be sad to go I am very excited to make more friends, meet new people and make more memories that I'll never forget.

Brrrrrr!!!!

First snow game of the year for the Philadelphia Eagles vs the Detroit Lions. This whether was NO match for the Eagles and there high powered offense. They pouned the (7-6) Lions in the snow to increase their playoff chances. This hard fought game was made possible by the running of the Egale runningback Lesean McCoy.


Lesean McCoy had a record setting proformance rushing for over 200 yard with 2 TD's. To cap off a win at home against the lions.

Its that time of year again!

While everyone is getting into the holiday spirit perparing for thanksgiving, hanging decorations, and putting up trees you can smell the pie. Playing with the big boys

One day while I got ready to go home from practice my jv coach came up to me with some very important news. I asked over and over again what the news was, he would not tell me. All he said is go talk to the varsity head coach. A thousand thoughts went through my head , I was wondering what the varsity coach could want. When I get to his office it looks like he has been waiting for me. So I ask what did he want and he tells me I'm getting moved up to play with the varsity this fridays game.I started to smile as he was telling me the news. He then finished, he told me to follow him to meet thefamily.even though I already knew everyone. That's the day I started playing with the big boys.

Dear jounrnalism, Part 1: Although the year isn't over! Me as a student i have learned many useful tools that helps make me a better journalist. I found out how important the simplest steps can effect your story. These tools make it easy to complete an article on time. One important aspect of writing a good article is having an amazing lead to start the article off with. This lead should capture the readers attention. For example if we were talking about a house fire we would find a good fiting title to give a reader more interest in the article. Part 2: The story of the basketball season is will the boys and girls be able to make it back to sections this year or even further to perhaps a state title. Well after talking to many of the returning players on both the gilrs and boys team they plan to have a very strong team to compete for a section title and if the year goes as planned they should be playing for a state title.
